Job Description & Responsibilities

DiCon Inc. is actively seeking a Sales Manager to join a fast moving, exciting company with tremendous opportunities for advancement. The hired candidates will work with DiCon Lighting on its new venture into microscopy illumination and its new brand, Scope LED.

The candidate should have a strong bioscience background and hands on experience with fluorescent microscopy, as the individual will help bring a new LED source for fluorescent microscopy to market. The individual must also be motivated to take on new challenges, be able to multi-task and work independently. A strong business sense and the ability to spot and exploit opportunities is a must. He or she should also possess the charisma to interact with customers professionally and have the ability to communicate technical details clearly and patiently.

Qualifications & Requirements

• BS or MA Degree in Science (Bioengineering, Biology, Physics, etc.) preferred
• Minimum 2 years of sales or customer service experience in related industries preferred (Medical instruments, Microscopes, Biotechnology)
• Strong business sense and desire to elevate position in the marketplace
• Background or experience in fluorescence microscopy or other related fields
• Excellent verbal and written communication/networking skills
• Good organizational skills
• Willing to travel occasionally and attend trade-shows/conferences
